“We contacted Picture Lake Landscaping because we liked the work they had done at the home of a neighbour. We have been very pleased with our new landscaping. We had a complete makeover, as our previous landscaping had been installed 23 years earlier. Everything from the former project was removed and an assortment of flowering shrubs, trees, bushes and ornamental grasses were installed. It looks beautiful.

We have used Picture Lake Landscaping for over 3 years for mulch and other various landscaping projects. Every time, Matt has been extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. He is friendly and courteous and respectful of your property, he is always sure to clean up after jobs and not leave a trail of mulch in our backyard like many other landscapers have done. Matt has been extremely helpful in recommendations for plants that would work best in our beds, and has offered solutions to existing plants in need of some extra TLC. “I highly recommend Picture Lake Landscaping. I live in a townhouse which, unfortunately, has its own company they use for the front of the properties. I have responsibility for one side (I am in a two-building attached) townhouse. Although there was shrubbery, plants, etc. when I moved in, I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the appearance. Matt and I had a consultation in which we exchanged ideas and suggestions. Although I was ready to rip out everything and have Picture Lake Landscaping make it beautiful, Matt suggested taking a couple of things out, putting some new in, and living with the others. He said that he felt that that would be a good way to see if I really didn’t like what was there, and give myself the opportunity to see how the new plants grew and looked, and not spend a fortune all at once. He cleaned out the shrubbery, pulling weeds, and trimming bushes, put in mulch and a few new plants. At the beginning of fall, he trimmed what needed to be trimmed and tied up the new plants for the winter. There is no pressure in working with this company. In fact, they prefer you not spend a fortune, that you replace a few at a time, and give you an opportunity to live with the new and consider the “old”.
